Principal's Message

October

I hope this message finds you well and that you and your children are settling into the new school year smoothly. As we transition into the month of October, I wanted to share some important updates, events, and reminders with you.

1. Fall Break: Oct. 7th-11th. Take time to “Sharpen the Saw” and recharge your batteries.

2. Fall Festivities: October brings with it the excitement of fall! We are planning several fun fall-themed activities for our students. Keep an eye out for announcements about pumpkin decorating contests, costume days, and other autumn-inspired events. Fall Festival is on October 18th 5:00-8:00. Our book fair will be Oct. 18th-25th.

3. Parent-Teacher Conferences: We value open communication between home and school. Parent-teacher conferences will be coming up the week of November 11th. This is a great opportunity to discuss your child's progress and goals. More information on scheduling will be sent out soon.

4. Safety Reminders: As the days get shorter, it's important to ensure your child's safety. Please remind them to use crosswalks, wear reflective gear, and practice good pedestrian habits. We're committed to keeping our school environment safe for everyone.

5. National Bullying Prevention Month: October is National Bullying Prevention Month. We'll be focusing on promoting kindness, empathy, and anti-bullying throughout the month. Encourage your child to participate in activities designed to create a positive and respectful school culture.

6. Parent Volunteers: We appreciate our parent volunteers! If you're interested in helping out with school events or activities, please contact our PTO or the school office. Your support is invaluable to us.

7. Clubs: Clubs are in full swing at Natcher. We are excited about all the opportunities students have at Natcher. If you are interested in learning more about all our different clubs, please reach out to me.

8. Stay Connected: Don't forget to stay updated by following our school's website, and our social media pages for the latest news, event details, and photos.

We look forward to a fantastic month of learning, fun, and community-building here at Natcher Elementary. Thank you for your continued partnership in your child's education. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Wishing you a wonderful October!
